Civic Benevolence

Why Volunteering with Us Creates Meaningful Change

At Association 'Sur Les Rives Du Gland', volunteering is not an impersonal corporate exercise; it is the vital heartbeat of neighborhood solidarity. Whether you are a student looking to develop practical event skills, a working professional wanting to give back to your local district, or a retired citizen eager to share your wisdom and meet fellow residents, our volunteer platform offers a welcoming, flexible, and supportive home.

We operate with deep respect for each volunteer's personal availability and interests. There are no mandatory quotas or burdensome administrative requirements. You choose the roles and time commitments that best fit your lifestyle—whether offering two hours on a Saturday morning to welcome walkers along the river, or collaborating on our mobile sound crew for summer concerts.

Non-Commercial Volunteer Charter: In strict compliance with French labor law (Bénévolat associatif) and Google Ad Grants guidelines, our volunteer positions are purely civic, non-commercial, and dedicated entirely to the public interest. No volunteer replaces paid salaried labor or engages in commercial activities.

What Our Volunteers Say About Our Community

"After retiring from manufacturing in 2021, I felt disconnected from the pulse of my hometown. Joining Association Sur Les Rives Du Gland to guide walking tours along the river gave me a fresh sense of purpose. Seeing older residents smile as we walk together has been deeply rewarding."

— Michel B., Volunteer Walking Guide, Resident of Audincourt

"As an apprentice electrician, volunteering with the mobile acoustic stage taught me so much about professional audio cabling and teamwork. More than that, it feels amazing to see families enjoying live music that wouldn't happen without our volunteers."

— Julien M., Youth Technical Volunteer, Age 21
